I will make a toy from your kid's drawing (or your drawing) if you want!
As a sewer since junior high (I even made my wedding dress) and a dabbling artist (in oils mainly, with one show under my belt), I combined my skills to teach my kids about basic sewing techniques back when my oldest was little about 13 years ago. I've done this with four of my five kids. They love having a doll or plush toy (I did a teddy bear and mouse with a cookie for my sons) of something they've drawn themselves. I usually let them sew on a button or even push the peddle on the sewing machine to give them experience sewing.
Now I offer my services (like others on the internet who have had this same idea).
My prices are low, because I'm just doing this for fun!
$40 - $60 plus $6 shipping in the US (depending on size and complexity-one similar to Chloe's Rapunzel would be $40. I accept Paypal or check.
